Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently fights at the UFC flyweight division. Shevchenko is the elder sister of an earlier UFC Flyweight champ and fellow UFC participant Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as a Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and beat Suzane Mill in the finals with a unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko took home a second medal in 2007, she was awarded a bronze medal in 2008 and winning gold in 2011 and was crowned the 2016. IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion. Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her impressive strike power through a clinch using her knees against her body. After this win, Antonina got an UFC deal. Antonina was given the UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight. She won the initial bout by unanimous decision. Antonina came back from losing through defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. It earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski while losing to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. In the past, Antonina fell to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos and.
